 Aeration is an extremely vital element to a healthy lawn. Core Aeration plugs holes in the soil to allow air, water and nutrients to penetrate the grass roots. This helps the roots grow deeper and produce a stronger, more vigorous Lawn. It also de-compacts the soil. Compacted soil suffocates your lawn.

We use a Blue Bird power rake that has adjustable settings to take out the proper amount of thatch. Then we hand rake and bag the dead grass. (Bags are not taken) Thatch can suffocate a lawn if there is too much. Price includes front and back. Small (up to 2,000 sq. ft.)--$100. Average (2,000-3,999 sq. ft.)--$125 Large (4,000-5,000 sq. ft.)--$150 

We can also power rake just the front to save you some money.

Revive is a soil conditioner that saves you water by softening and breaking down the soil giving you less water runoff. Also helps with brown spots and turns your lawn deep green. Great to apply during or after fertilize. Pet friendly--$45-$55

The fertilizer we use is a spring blend that helps your lawn recover from the harsh winter, turns it green and supplies the nutrients it needs to thrive. --$35-$45

Grass is not immortal. Over seed promotes new growth giving you a thicker, richer lawn. We also apply extra seed to small bare spots as pictured above. (Spots larger than 3 feet require additional seed to be effective. An additional charge will be needed.) Over seed is best after power raking and aeration. We use three types of Rye that blend well with the lawns in Denver.

Spot Composting is for bare spots or trouble areas. It is best done after poweraking and aerating. We give extra attention to the problem areas by aerating twice and putting extra seed on the bare spots. Then we put a layer of compost on top of the seed. This helps keep the seeds moist so that they will germinate better. Price depends on the size of the problem areas.
